Debbie Chavez, President
Debbie is a school librarian in Round Rock, Texas and worked for many years as a public librarian in Arizona. She has volunteered at school libraries in Uganda and led a school library program in Guatemala.
Jennifer Kimbrough, Treasurer
Jennifer is the Vice President for Finance for ScriptSave, a nation-wide drug discount program for the uninsured and underinsured. She is an active proponent for literacy and libraries and has served as the treasurer for the Pima Library Foundation.
Dee Winn, Secretary
Dee has been an academic librarian since 2007 and has worked in Windsor, Vancouver, and Montréal. Three of her favorite things are volunteering, promoting literacy initiatives, and traveling. She has participated in and led volunteer programs in Zambia and Guatemala.
Karrin Thompson, Communications Director
Karrin is a reading advocate and aspiring children’s librarian. In her free time she maintains a bookstagram that focuses primarily on elevating diverse stories in young adult literature. She has studied abroad and volunteered in Accra, Ghana.
